SVP, Engineering and Operations

Jeff Andrew is currently the SVP of Engineering and Operations primarily responsible for new business development. Prior to SIG, Jeff was responsible for Project Management of 175 TV stations at Osborn Engineering during the FCC Repack. He also helped to author the NAB Next Generation Television (ATSC 3.0) Station Transition Guide. Prior to that Jeff was the VP of Engineering and Operations for Fox Television DC. During his 13 years at Fox, Jeff worked on all aspects of DTV including the Open Mobile Video Coalition where he participated on the Technical Advisory Group for ATSC M/H Standards. Prior to Fox, Jeff was the Director of Engineering for Gannett Broadcasting for Radio and Television. In his 14 years at Gannett, Jeff oversaw construction for more than 25 major market DTV facilities including two of the first HD DTV stations in DC and Atlanta. Jeff was also on the NAB Engineering Committee that was responsible for testing the competing HDTV standards (COFDM and 8VSB). He was a major contributor in the DTV field testing, which lead to choosing the current ATSC 1.0 standard. While at Gannett, Jeff was also the Managing Director for USA Digital Radio which developed the standard for HD Radio broadcasting.
