Shane Toven

Shane Toven has been involved in the field of broadcast engineering for over 30 years, starting as a volunteer forKAXE-FM (Grand Rapids, Minnesota) where he learned the trade and became their first full-time engineer. In 2006, Shane joined Wyoming Public Media at the University of Wyoming as their Director of Engineering. In 2017, he joined Educational Media Foundation. He is currently the Senior Broadcast Engineer for the group, tasked with engineering R&D for the network and looking toward “what’s next” in broadcast technology.
